With almost forty years of experience across underwriting, claims and business development, Richard’s appointment marks another important step in our international growth story.

Few people bring the breadth of experience that Richard Webb does to the specialist insurance market. With a career spanning almost 40 years and senior management, executive, and board-level roles at Hiscox Insurance Company, HCC International, Manchester Underwriting Management and Pen Underwriting, his appointment represents a major addition to the Coverdrone leadership team.

Richard’s track record of building businesses, mentoring teams and leading high-value underwriting portfolios has made him one of the most respected names in the sector. “Some of the most rewarding moments have been when you can defend a client who’s being unfairly pursued and get them the right result,” he says. “It’s about fairness, service and doing what’s right for the customer.”
